I like the "why" I'm making stuff just as much as the actual making stuff. I ask myself, "what am I solving for?" and use that as my north star while I'm creating. That's why my work style is so collaborative - the more perspectives you have, the better solutions you get.
When it comes to craft, I believe the most important thing is the overall visual narrative, not holding onto the finer details when they need to be let go (unless I reaaaaally like it). I'm a bottomless pit of ideas and very competitive, so I've gotten really good at finding the path of least resistance for maximum impact. So far that's been the best way I've found to create work that's simple, impactful, and memorable - work that works.
Currently living it up in NYC but suffering from a serious lack of animal-style cheeseburgers from In-N-Out. You can find me reading mystery novels in the park, torturing myself on the stairmaster in the name of health, or vibing out at a concert.
